Surviving The Summer Heat
Whether you're spending a day at the beach, going for a hike, or climbing up a mountain, in summer we must take advantage of the pleasant weather.
In order to get the most out of your summer activities, it's crucial to be prepared to battle the heat.
Putting on Sunscreen
Sunscreen protects the skin from harmful UV rays and should be applied all day long. The skin can start to burn in just 15 minutes, so protection is needed even with minimal exposure. There are many sunscreens available with something that suits everyone, choosing from spray, roll-on, and lotion. I love this one from my favorite skincare brand Rodan & Fields.
Covering Up
Although it’s tempting to put on a bikini and sunbathe by the pool, exposing your skin could result in sunburn, skin cancer, and early aging. The potential harm is not worth it. Therefore wearing long sleeves, a higher neck, and a hat are some of the advice for covering up.
Our Sarong is also a great option, placing it around the shoulders to keep stylish while covering up and effectively protecting yourself from the sun.
Drinking Water
It's critical to drink enough water each day for your health. Dehydration, which can affect thinking, alter mood, cause your body to overheat, and induce constipation, can all be avoided by drinking water.
Therefore, carry a water bottle with you and regularly refill it throughout the day.
