Stretch cotton: Soft and forgiving with a little give — great for active travel days where you need freedom of movement. The same stretch cotton runs through our island tops and skorts so your whole outfit moves with you.

Non-stretch cotton: A clean, structured drape that flows beautifully in warm weather. Printed in our signature Caribbean-inspired patterns and just as breathable as the stretch styles. The same fabric used across our cotton sarong collection.

What we don't use: Polyester and synthetic blends trap heat and moisture against the skin — exactly what you don't want in humidity. Every West Indies Wear dress is natural fibre, no exceptions.

All our cotton and linen dresses are machine washable. Wash on a gentle cycle in cold water and hang to dry. Our prints are designed to hold colour wash after wash — no special treatment needed.
